Analysis

Strengths: Slated as one of the top Defensive Ends in this class, Bjoern Werner has really made a name for himself and secured his spot as a top prospect. Werner’s pure athleticism and relentless motor make him a mean and tenacious rusher coming off the edge. He is powerful at the point of attack and rarely do you see him out of a play. He always makes his way to the ball carrier and is the source of constant disruption in the backfield.

Weakness: Werner is extremely raw and will need quite a bit of coaching to really maximize his potential, which gives light to his high ceiling. Doesn’t have a lot of pass rush moves, but again this will be improved with proper coaching and sound technique.

Projections: Werner’s high motor and relentless pass rush will be desired by most teams, landing him in the top 10. See him selected by either the Jaguars, Browns, or Titans.
